IMC bottle coolers impress buyers for their price point

IMC says the launch of two new bottle coolers has gone down a storm with the market due to the quality of build in relation to price point.

The IMCool C60 and C90 bottle coolers offer a stylish and practical addition to the back bar. The two models, a single and a double-door version, work hard to keep bottles at the perfect temperature.

Holding either 135 (C60) or 206 (C90) bottles, the coolers have a robust, black cabinet body, with a choice of stainless steel, black or painted silver double-glazed and lockable glass doors.

The units maintain an internal temperature of between 2°C and 8°C, and also feature fan assisted cooling for rapid temperature decrease, an auto defrost function, plus simple user-friendly digital controls and display.

Helen Applewhite, marketing manager for the IMC and Lincat brands, said the units proved a hit with customers when they were unveiled at last month’s Professional Kitchen Show.

“Reaction to the new bottle coolers was universally positive,” she said. “Visitors were particularly impressed with the build quality. For example, many commented on the fact that unlike most other bottle coolers at this price point IMCool units have stainless steel handles, rather than plastic.”

The C60 has a list price of £610, while the C90 comes in at £710.

  1. Aaand the price has already been destroyed online…

These mickey mouse companies really are destroying the market for everybody else.

What is the point in making £5 or £10 in heavy equipment? How can you support your customer with those sorts of margins? (You Can’t)
