IMC creates dedicated role to support national accounts

Stuart Grieves, national account manager & central UK sales manager

IMC has appointed its first ever national account manager as it looks to provide added support to customers that are working with its equipment on a UK-wide basis.

Stuart Grieves will take on the post having served as central UK sales manager since joining the bar refrigeration and food waste management specialist last year. He will also continue in his existing role.

Prior to working for IMC, he spent eight years at commercial refrigeration manufacturer Foster Refrigerator. In this role, he was responsible for sales in the north west of both Foster equipment and Gamko drinks cooling products.

In the 12 months since he joined IMC, Mr Grieves has grown sales across Britannia ventilation, waste management solutions, bar refrigeration and vegetable preparation equipment.

Martin Venus, head of sales for the UK and Ireland at IMC, said: “Although Stuart has only been with IMC for a year, he has made an excellent contribution to sales and growth of the business. He has a fantastic ‘can do’ attitude and has embraced every challenge thrown his way, which is why he is the ideal candidate for our new national account manager role. It’s an exciting period of transition for our business, as we look to grow our national accounts, and I’d like to wish Stuart every success in his new position.”

Wrexham-based IMC has been engineering catering solutions for more than 110 years. The company is owned by the Middleby Corporation.
