Industry titans debate what the future holds for foodservice equipment sector

CESA conference

What are the key issues driving change? How are they impacting on the foodservice equipment market? And how do you plan for connectivity and digitalisation?

Those are some of the questions that a trio of the industry’s leading executives will ponder today as the annual CESA Conference gets underway in London.

A special ‘Titans of Industry’ panel is planned for the event at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel, with Ricca Consultancy executive principal Kathleen Seelye, Hilton procurement head Andy Earley and Middleby group managing director, Najib Maalouf set to share their thoughts on the market.

After each has made their arguments, delegates will get the chance to quiz them under the perceptive direction of Simon Jack, who is conference chair for 2019.

A packed agenda is planned for the day, including an in-depth look at what the issue of connectivity means the industry.

Piers Skinner from Telemetry and Mike Faers from Food Innovation Solutions will share their expert views on this vitally important subject for manufacturers.

Other topics that will be explored include recruitment, retention and training, as well future proofing in the catering industry.

The event will conclude with the conference awards dinner.
