Irinox has introduced its most efficient and sustainable blast chiller to the UK market.
The MultiFresh Next is the most powerful unit it has ever produced, featuring a new natural refrigerant that offers up to 40% quicker chilling and freezing for faster cycles and optimised working times.
Irinox claims that MultiFresh Next is the first range of blast chillers in the world to work with the green refrigerant gas R290, better known as propane. When used in conjunction with its latest technology, the MultiCircuit, it offers enhanced performance versus previous equipment, even at partial load.
Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic Foodservice Solutions, said: “Chefs have relied on high performance Irinox blast chillers for many years to improve food preparation processes and increase products’ shelf-life – helping to reduce costs and waste, and maximise profits.
“The all new MultiFresh Next range has been completely redesigned and reengineered and the revolutionary technology offers unprecedented levels of customisation, sustainability, power and innovation and we expect it to be a big hit with customers in the UK.”
Users can choose between two configurations of cycles and functions – Essential, which has four cold functions (chilling, freezing, non-stop and cold holding); and Excellence, which offers the same features together with the new hot and cold functions for the most demanding kitchens.
In total, MultiFresh Next includes up to 12 functions and 150 cycles which can be configured by application areas, such as gastronomy, pastry, bakery and ice cream.
The system features a new intuitive control panel and can be connected to a smartphone via the FreshCloud app, allowing users to remotely monitor operating data, change settings and access HACCP reports.
The MultiFresh Next is available in six models: S/M/L suitable to hold GN1/1 or 600 x 400 mm trays SL/ML/LL suitable to hold GN2/1 trays.
