The 1,700-strong pub and restaurant operator cited the company’s “exceptional, consistently delivered” service offer and willingness to “go above and beyond” as key factors in its decision.

In addition to the Catering Contractor of the Year accolade, an additional award was presented to Rachel Coley, key accounts team leader at Hobart Service for ‘Most Valued Player of the Year 2019’.

She was nominated by the Mitchells & Butlers BMC (Building Maintenance Contract) helpdesk team.

On the double award win, Keith Mackie, managing director of Hobart Service, said: “We are honoured to receive this award for yet another year; testament to our dedicated team – with Rachel as a shining example – who work tirelessly in the pursuit of excellence. The partnership between Hobart and Mitchells and Butlers grows stronger each year as both businesses go from strength to strength.”

  1. This is fantastic news. M&B need a strong contractor to deliver great service and speedy repairs to keep downtime to a minimum and I believe that this is something Hobart is very good at doing, It is great for them to be rewarded for their hard work and long may this continue.
