A former head chef for Jamie’s Italian has left the chain and switched over to the hotel market to run Splendid Hospitality Group’s Hotel Indigo York.
Oliver Bell will serve as head chef of the 101-bedroom location following his time at Jamie’s, where he progressed from sous chef to head chef in the space of six years.
Joining the group with over 10 years’ culinary experience, Bell will oversee all food operations and the day to day running of the kitchen at the hotel’s restaurant, No.88 Walmgate.
