Jestic Foodservice Equipment is flying the flag for kitchen innovation among multi-site operators as the sponsor of the Operator of the Year for Equipment Innovation category at the 2018 FEJ Awards.
The Kent-based supplier, which counts the likes of Josper, Henny Penny, Rosinox, Sveba Dahlen and Wood Stone among its impressive brand portfolio, is a partner to many of the industry’s leading chains and so its endorsement of this category is a perfect fit with its own business.
The introduction of new equipment to a kitchen — be it in the form of cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, beverage or any other category — can have a profound effect on a foodservice business’ operations.
The award that Jestic is sponsoring – and which the company will present to the winning foodservice business on Tuesday June 5 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole – recognises the time, investment and sheer hard work that goes into rolling out innovative equipment across multiple sites.
Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic Foodservice Equipment, commented: “Jestic is delighted to be sponsoring the Operator of the Year category for Equipment Innovation at the inaugural Foodservice Equipment Journal Awards. Multi-site operators have, in many cases, been the driving force behind introducing the latest concepts and developing trends across the industry.
“As a distributor of some of the industry’s finest, most recognisable catering equipment brands, we felt it the clear choice for Jestic to support the maiden FEJ Awards and celebrate those demonstrating innovation using the very latest equipment.”
Mr Morris added: “The launch of the Foodservice Equipment Journal Awards will provide a great vehicle for celebrating success in this thriving sector and in conjunction with the Commercial Kitchen Show, is sure to be a fantastic evening.”
