Jestic Foodservice Equipment is championing the use of innovative catering appliances to drive food quality and menu propositions by returning as the sponsor of the Operator of the Year for Equipment Innovation category at the 2019 FEJ Awards.

The Kent-based supplier, which serves as the UK distributor for prestigious brands such as Josper, Henny Penny, Rosinox, Sveba Dahlen, Winston Cvap and Wood Stone, is at the forefront of bringing the latest, pioneering catering equipment to market.

“We work very closely with many of the national high street chains, groups and franchises, to develop exciting new concepts using innovative equipment, achieving standout USPs and deliver exceptional menus,” said Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic.

“As such, we are delighted to be supporting the ‘Equipment Innovation Operator’ category at the FEJ Awards for the second year, helping to do our bit to celebrate the very best from across foodservice.”

The award that Jestic is sponsoring – and which the company will present to the winning foodservice business on Tuesday 4 June at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole – recognises the time, investment and sheer hard work that goes into rolling out innovative equipment across multiple sites. Last year the award went to Costa Coffee.

Mr Morris added: “The FEJ Awards represents the very pinnacle of the commercial catering equipment sector and does so with a spectacular night of celebration and recognition. We at Jestic, feel that it is important to honour those groups and chains who are really setting the standards in food quality, consistency and innovation and as such, we’re delighted to be returning as a category sponsor for the Foodservice Equipment Journal Awards in 2019.”

The 2019 FEJ Awards will once again take place on the first evening of the Commercial Kitchen Show, which Jestic will be participating at to highlight its latest solutions.

“Commercial Kitchen will allow us to showcase the very latest catering equipment innovation on offer, while the FEJ Awards ceremony will allow us the opportunity to thank our partners for their continued, and highly valued, custom over the past 12 months,” said Mr Morris.
