KFC secures Waterloo expansion on former steakhouse site

KFC has completed its deal to open a brand new site in Waterloo, via CDG Leisure.

The advisory firm secured a 2,000 square foot premises at the former site of steak restaurant Black and Blue, on Mepham Street, to facilitate Black and Blue’s expansion into a larger space next door.

The branch will offer grab-and-go and sit-down options for commuters from the main entrance and another serving hatch facing Tenison Way.

Emma Wright, CDG Leisure, who brokered the deal on behalf of Black and Blue, said: “This is a great result for both brands and shows that KFC is going from strength to strength.”

She added: “This is the perfect location for the company, offering the popular fried chicken to thousands of people travelling to and from the station every day.”
