Cooking equipment manufacturer Lainox is backing the digital technology that powers its latest generation of combi ovens by offering end-users a special four-year ‘Naboo technology’ warranty.
Lainox Naboo has historically been covered by a standard two-year parts and labour warranty, which remains in place, but the additional cover is focused on the electronic PCB technology built into the Naboo.
Paul Godfrey, brand director of Lainox UK, said the move ensures peace of mind for customers when purchasing a new oven as it eliminates any risk of paying out to replace expensive electronic PCB board components.
“The news that Lainox is now covering Naboo technology with an extended warranty is great news for end-users, giving them the reassurance when choosing Lainox products that they are choosing quality, high-end technology and a cooking device that truly performs.”
Godfrey added that Lainox is currently focused on breathing new life into its business in the UK. “We are putting a lot of work into redeveloping the brand offering in the UK and this is just one of many updates we will be communicating over the coming weeks and months,” he said.
Last month Lainox announced that Martin Bird had joined the company as development chef. His role is to support the growth of the brand and provide staff training, as well as carry out Naboo demonstrations.
Lainox launched the Naboo range in the UK two years ago as the first cloud-enabled ovens in its portfolio.
