Property developer Brookgate has announced that a trio of leading brands will spearhead the retail offer at Station Square, a new public space and focal point for CB1, the vibrant new city quarter being developed around Cambridge station.

Sainsbury’s has taken 4,476 sq ft and will provide convenient supermarket shopping for the 10 million passengers using Cambridge station every year, those living and working at CB1 and other visitors to the area.

The supermarket will be joined by natural, handmade food specialist Pret A Manger which will be opening a 2,426 sq ft shop, serving a fresh and healthy menu of sandwiches, salads and simple hot food.  Strengthening the offer will be popular coffee house Caffé Nero, which will be opening a 2,215 sq ft outlet, providing fine Italian coffee and artisan food.
