Levy Leisure UK has installed a new Prosecco bar within the historic grounds of Hever Castle after partnering up with kitchen design house RDA.
RDA’s team of design experts worked with the company, which is the official catering partner at many of the UK’s top visitor attractions, to transform a storage unit into a flexible counter, allowing the movable bar to be locked away for safe storage.
The two organisations created a bespoke solution for Hever Castle which enhances the customer experience and provides an elegant addition to the Loggia terrace overlooking the lake in the Italian Garden.
The rear storage, rear counter and mobile front counter were provided by CED Fabrication, while the unit includes a double upright bottle cooler with sliding doors from Interlevin and a roller shutter and overhead canopy from Oak Security Systems.
Rak Kalidas, strategic director at Levy Leisure UK, said: “It’s been a pleasure working in collaboration with RDA. The Prosecco Bar is a fantastic addition to the guest experience when attending an event at Hever Castle.”
Neil Addyman, director at RDA, added that the design of the bar has an old English, traditional look about it in keeping with the castle’s heritage.
“A copper roof and marble add an element of luxury while the deep tones bring an ambient bar atmosphere. The use of tiles to the back wall provides a modern twist to the heritage look and feel and full height bottle fridges ensure the prosecco can keep flowing,” he said.
