Lincat reacts to squeeze on counter space with compact convection ovens

Lincat has added three space-saving convection ovens to its Lynx 400 range of plug and play electric equipment, in response to the growing number of establishments battling with limited counter space.

The new models are an evolution of the brand’s popular LCO ovens and have the capacity to hold gastronorms either directly in the shelf runners or placed on supplied shelves.

The slim LCOS accommodates 2 x 1/2GN, the tall LCOT can hold 2 x 2/3GN, and the large LCOXL has a capacity for 4 x 1/1GN.

Lincat claims all three offer more shelf space and higher gastronorm capacity than industry competitors at a similar price point and footprint.

It said the secret to achieving the compact footprint was placing the control panels underneath the oven doors.

Helen Applewhite, marketing manager at Lincat, said: “Our compact LCO convection oven is one of our best-sellers, which is why we decided to develop three further space-saving ovens to add to the range – with a brand-new Lynx 400 logo.

“They are great choice, where space is limited, for producing a wide range of high-quality foods such as roasted meats, vegetables, potatoes and breads. The new ovens are manufactured here in the UK, so customers can be assured they are purchasing a quality piece of kit, which has been produced to a high standard, with easy access to spare parts and excellent after-sales support.”

The ovens have a temperature range of 50°C to 250°C and can be installed anywhere as they, and both the dial controls and 55-minute timer are easy to use.

The LCOS and LCOT ovens are equipped with two removable shelves and four shelf positions, while the LCOXL has three removable shelves with four shelf positions.

All ovens feature side-opening doors, with double-glazed viewing panels and internal lights, to support energy-efficient operation.

The new ovens are also designed to be easy to maintain, since the inner door glass, light bulb and door seal can all be replaced by the user.
