Italian catering and pizza equipment specialist, Linda Lewis Kitchens, has launched anew range of gas living flame and wood-fired ovens which it hopes will leaves Britain’s chefs satisfied.
LLK has used its expert eye to source five “personality-filled” ranges of oven, as a response to huge market demand for wood-fired and gas living flame ovens and the rapid growth of the street food catering sector.
Each is designed to meet the need for culinary authenticity in the pizza and Mediterranean dining sector and creates a true Italian dining ambience.
LLK has launched the Da Vinci range for those seeking an authentic wood-fired pizza oven, with contemporary twists. With impressive heat retention, due to the latest materials used and clever oven design, the equipment suits a chef confident enough to cook with wood.
Less willing fire starters can head to the hassle-free Verrocchio range. These ovens come complete with a patented forced draft gas burner, which delivers the illusion of burning wood, by mixing gas with air and throwing up a flame around the dome that can reach 1500 mm.
The Giovanni range features a revolving stone base designed to simplify loading and unloading. This “easy-to-use” oven speeds up production by up to 20%, according to LLK, giving restaurants the opportunity to increase profitability and revenue.
The lightweight Andiamo range is ideal for street food traders, start-ups and smaller businesses. The range comes in a choice of wood-fired or gas oven and is pre-assembled prior to delivery. Its compact size enables it to fit through a standard door frame, enabling the new owner to get up and running swiftly.
The Franco Andiamo range, meanwhile, is an eye-catching ally, with nostalgic 1940s nuances, that oozes classic Italian panache and will create talking points at any festival or wedding. It is housed in a Piaggio Ape three-wheeler and comes as either a wood-fired, or a gas living flame oven. Its smaller sibling – the Tito Andiamo – is a trailer oven for those preferring to tow their oven to events.
LLK’s managing director, Linda Lewis, said: “We are incredibly excited about the potential of our new range of wood-fired and gas living flame ovens and are bringing something refreshingly authentic and personality-filled to the British restaurant, pub and street food sectors.
“Our ovens’ creator has poured passion into each range, lovingly designing each one and combining traditional materials and dome-shaped heat-hugging structures, with modern twists such as electronic control panels. Eateries can also tile or paint ovens to suit an individual colour scheme and have other aesthetic options besides.”
