Manchester chain hopeful of emerging from administration

Tre Ciccio

A popular Manchester restaurant chain has been placed into administration but is continuing to trade while it looks for a solution to its problems.

Tre Ciccio, which operates sites in Altrincham, Bramhall and Ramsbottom, confirmed the news in a social media post.

“Tre Ciccio Ltd is currently in temporary administration for a limited period due to losses in the Tre Ciccio Bramhall restaurant,” the owners wrote.

“However, we are trading as normal and it’s very much business as usual while we go through a restructuring process.”

The chain issued a plea for customers to support it while it works through its difficulties and is currently offering 25% off the price of its January menu.

In a separate post responding to messages from well-wishers, the company wrote: “Thank you for all your kind, supportive comments. As previously mentioned, we will continue to serve great food and provide great service with our usual warm Tre Ciccio hospitality.”

It is understood that the Bramhall site had shut prior to the appointment of administrators.

Administrators have reportedly said they are confident of achieving a positive outcome for all of the sites.
