Manitowoc Foodservice this afternoon announced the appointment of a new senior VP and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Philip Dei Dolori, a veteran of the foodservice industry who has held a variety of global VP roles at Manitowoc Foodservice, takes up the position with immediate effect.
In his new role, he will be responsible for all sales, operations and profit/loss functions with a focus on driving growth, developing new products and establishing strong customer relationships in the region.
Dei Dolori will report directly to COO Josef Matosevic and will be part of the executive leadership team led by CEO Hubertus Muehlhaeuser. He will be based at Manitowoc Foodservice’s facility in Eglfing, Germany.
With sales and operating experience in over 50 countries, Dei Dolori has lived in the US, Mexico, South Africa, France and Italy, and speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Dei Dolori joined Manitowoc when it acquired Enodis in 2008. At the time he was group managing director with dual responsibility for Asia Pacific and European operations and sales.
He has previously served as group president at Middleby and president of Vulcan Hart, an ITW company.
Currently a board member at Cooper-Atkins Corporation, Dei Dolori has also served on the board of directors for INDUCS AG in Switzerland and the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM).
