Manufacturer branches into combi oven market

7 grid combi oven

Catering equipment supplier Pantheon has launched its first ever range of steam combination ovens.

The company said it has decided to err away from the more traditional 6 and 10 grid sizes and offer 7 and 11 grid models instead. It will also supply 20 and 40 grid versions for companies with larger catering requirements.

Pantheon said it selected the sizes following “extensive customer and dealer research” and said that feedback “overwhelmingly supported the notion that size does matter!”

Field trials have now taken place in establishments ranging from pub kitchens to a Michelin restaurant, according to the company.

They provide 67 fully automated programmes with temperatures ranging from between 20°C and 270° C for steam convection and convection cooking and between 20°C and 100°C for steam only. A food hold facility operating at 50°C can be incorporated into any programme or used in isolation and the ovens can also be operated manually if preferred.

The integral self-clean system features two levels of wash cycle and a rinse cycle simplifies daily maintenance and helps ensure optimum performance at all times.

List prices start at £8,979 for the 7 grid oven and each model comes with a 12 months part and labour warranty applies.

Pantheon supplies a wide range of catering equipment, including cooking appliances, serving equipment and food preparation machines.
