Leading chef Marco Pierre White is on the hunt for 80 staff to front a new restaurant venture he is launching in London West End.
The new venue, called Mr White’s, is located in Leicester Square, the home of film and entertainment. Managed by Black and White Hospitality it is expected to open in October.
The steakhouse, pizza and gin house has 80 full and part-time jobs available including managerial, front-of-house, kitchen and bar staff.
With British heritage at its heart, the menu will centre around steaks but also includes an Italian influence with handmade pizzas which adds a distinct continental flavour to the menu.
The 14,500 square foot restaurant has a seating capacity of up to 600 covers.
Darren Coslett-Blaize, head of food at Marco Pierre White Restaurants, said: “The opening of Mr White’s in Leicester Square is hugely exciting and has generated some fantastic opportunities for anyone who wants to work in a busy and inspiring environment right in the heart of London.
“It’s the team that will make Mr White’s what it is, and we want to employ those who are passionate about hospitality and want to provide guests with memorable experiences. That is at the heart of everything we do. The restaurant will all be about the experience, the buzz, the atmosphere and enjoying a meal in the company of friends and family.”
Mr Coslett-Blaize said the restaurant aims to deliver “affordable glamour” to its guests.
“The food will be authentic, fresh, and generous and is based on Marco’s ethos of serving classic dishes that are simply cooked. Those who work here will also have opportunities to grow their career with a business that is dedicated to investing in people, skills and development.”
