Marco’s cold coffee dispense system makes a splash in the industry

Marco Beverage Systems’ POUR’D cold coffee dispense system has won a Best New Product Award at the Specialty Coffee Expo 2022 in Boston.

The company landed silverware in the Commercial Coffee Preparation & Serving (Electrical) category of the awards, which recognise products for quality, innovation and value within the specialty coffee industry.

Marco’s innovative cold brew solution is designed to streamlines services, cut labour costs and reduce waste.

The system can dispense a shot of concentrate for mochas, frappes, and lattes, cold brew from concentrate and hot water for tea or americanos – all from a single font.

Paul Stack, managing director of Marco Beverage Systems, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition and be placed alongside the other outstanding winners and finalists.

“Building truly innovative solutions is always a challenge but winning Best New Product at the USA’s biggest Specialty Coffee Expo is great validation for our team’s design thinking approach to NPI and Marco’s overall purpose to re-imagine beverage excellence everywhere.”

POUR’D has already been adopted at some of the industry’s most cutting-edge establishments, such as Intelligensias’ Illumination Bar in Pasadena, CA, which eliminates the traditional espresso machine altogether and uses single-origin small-batch coffee concentrate to create a range of beverage innovations.
