Ms Kohl has spent the past 20 years as an executive chef in the luxury yacht sector but after ditching plans for retirement she has launched an innovative concept aimed at helping chefs get back on their feet after the pandemic.

With the business opening applications for chefs to register their interest this week, she explains how the concept will work and the opportunity it will provide for chefs to serve their own menus and launch their own brands without the overheads involved in starting up a restaurant venture.

Mr Lacey runs high-speed oven manufacturer Merrychef’s operations and he details why soaring international growth has necessitated a seven-figure investment in expanding its manufacturing facility and hiring up to 50 staff.

He reveals the emerging trends driving the uptake of compact, accelerated cooking platforms and shares the ways in which the Welbilt-owned brand is structuring its business to support operators through their recovery.
