MARKET TALK: Equipment price freezes, rebranding a restaurant business and plant-based kitchen design

In this week’s episode of Market Talk, Louise Palmer-Masterton, founder of restaurant operator Stem + Glory and Rob Wager, sales director at warewashing equipment supplier Maidaid-Halcyon join us to discuss the changing needs of the industry as restaurants reopen.

Stem + Glory is one of the UK’s leading plant-based operators, with sites in Cambridge and London. Louise Palmer-Masterton explains the kitchen challenges the business faces as it looks to continue its expansion plans and the sort of factors that are shaping the investment decisions she is making.

Rob Wager, meanwhile, outlines how Maidaid is adapting to the new market climate and the importance of providing the right level of support and pricing to operators that are reopening in a dramatically different landscape to the one they knew at the start of the year.
