Market Talk now available on major podcast platforms

Market Talk

Market Talk – the conversational industry video series from FEJ and Catering Insight – is now available to download in audio format via all the major podcast platforms.

Launched last year at the beginning of the pandemic, the series has seen operators, distributors suppliers and other senior industry experts join the editorial team for a weekly 30-minute discussion on the industry topics of the day.

Each episode will continue to be available through FEJ and Catering Insight’s websites and YouTube channels – but they can also now be listened to as podcasts.

All 32 episodes recorded so far can now be accessed here via Spotify, Anchor, Breaker, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts and Radio Public. From next week, they will also be available on Apple Podcasts, Castbox and Overcast.

Clare Nicholls, editor of Catering Insight, said: “Market Talk has proved very popular with the industry since we launched it at the beginning of the first lockdown, providing a window into how senior executives are dealing with the changing landscape and the unique pressures they face.

“Having each episode available as a podcast means people can download and listen to them at their convenience via their preferred provider.”

The latest episode of Market Talk features a special focus on mental health in kitchens and the hospitality sector.

Kris Hall, founder of The Burnt Chef Project and Russell Stilwell, ambassador at Mates in Mind, shared their own real-life experiences of mental health stigma and the free and simple steps that employers can take to make a difference in the workplace.
