MARKET TALK: Turning kitchens upside down, getting chefs used to system changes and the de-mothballing issue

In this week’s episode of Market Talk, Ross Pike, chef director of Oakman Inns & Restaurants and Richard Norman, national sales manager at Jestic Foodservice Solutions, join us to discuss the radical changes facing kitchens on the cusp of reopening.

Oakman is hoping for the majority of its pubs to be operating again within the next three weeks, creating a significant project in terms of ensuring chefs are prepared for system changes and kitchens are adapted to meet guidelines that might be in place.

Meanwhile, Jestic has been busy providing operators with advice on some of the issues they might face as they bring kitchens out of hibernation and sourcing solutions that will assist them as they make their back-of-house operations Covid-secure.
