Service specialist Marren Group has been appointed an approved service provider for ACP XpressChef ovens.
The move comes as ACP Inc looks to increase its market coverage following the recent appointment of Jestic as a master distributor for the high-speed oven range.
Jestic will be responsible for selling and marketing XpressChef in the UK as the brand aims to reach operators that need to deliver high quality food at rapid speed.
Marren’s appointment will complement ACP’s distribution expansion by providing a dedicated level of support for after-sales requirements. The contract also extends to the Menumaster brand of microwave ovens, both in and out of warranty.
Brian Lavelle, sales manager for the UK and Ireland at ACP Inc, explained: “The appointment of Marren to service our units will have a huge impact on future sales. As we grow brand awareness and continue to grab market share and specification, it’s important to have the right level of service that complements the sales and after-sales care we offer.”
He added: “When an end-user operator relies on a key piece of kit like high-speed ovens, any downtime can be costly.”
Marren is one of the industry’s most established technical specialists in microwaves and accelerated oven repair, serving many of the country’s top brands.
Stephen Walters, EMEA service manager at ACP, said Marren will be able to provide support for both dealers and international chain accounts in the UK.
