Mechline Developments has launched its new hygienic range of BaSix H2O~2U Drinks Stations, to coincide with National Refill Day.
The Milton Keynes-based manufacturer says that the launch is intended to engage businesses with the National Drinking Water Scheme and ensure that they play their part in reducing plastic pollution.
The wall-mounted drinks station, which is fully WRAS approved, comes complete with a water bottle filler and bubbler tap and can be tailored in style and function to suit its location.
It will offer staff, customers and the public the ability to refill their water bottles across all catering industry environments.
The range includes four basin models – which vary in size, material and colour – as well as splashback and waste bin options to choose from.
Mechline’s Marketing Manager, Kristian Roberts, said: “The food service industry has an important role to play in reducing single-plastic use and one of the simplest, most decisive actions operators can take is offering free water refills at their sites!
“With research showing that people are more likely to purchase from a business that offers free water, it not only makes sense morally, but also from a business perspective too – and Mechline’s new BaSix Drinks Station offers an accessible, hygienic solution to suit any area of a catering operation!”
Mechline is also giving away free refillable water bottles to coincide with the product launch, which can be claimed on the company’s website.
