Meiko brings together warewashing and food waste heritage for vNext

Meiko Green stand HOST 2019

Meiko UK is displaying its new sustainable food waste treatment solution alongside the new entry-level UPster Series of glass, dish and pass-through dishwashers at Specifi’s vNext virtual trade show this Wednesday, 30 September.

The company’s new UPster range might be entry-level but the company claims its heritage is premium quality, with build quality, wash quality and value for money.

The 500 x 500mm machines have the option of GiO reverse osmosis water treatment, designed to save space and eliminate traditional water softeners.

The manufacturer’s virtual reality pod features videos, animation and facilities to chat with the Meiko team.

Also on stand is Meiko Green Solutions BioMaster, which takes all food waste including cooking oils and fats and bones, to create a biomass product that is pumped to holding tanks for collection. Suitable for all types of kitchen, three BioMaster solutions include a slimline model.

Meiko’s premium M-iClean series gives the virtual trade show’s visitors the chance to see Meiko’s innovative and ergonomic automatic hood in action on single and double-basket pass-through dishwashers.

Finally, attendees can have a look at the UPster rack transport K-S160. The smallest machine in Meiko’s rack fleet, the K-S160 offers up to 120 racks per hour and features heat recovery as standard.
