Meiko’s online care convention puts kitchen hygiene on a pedestal

Meiko NRA Show stand 2019

Meiko is planning a two-day online convention that will give care sector operators valuable insight to hygiene safety in kitchens and utility rooms.

The forum, which takes place on 22-23 June, will cover the standards used to design the hospitals and care homes of the future and detail how intelligent planning assures hygiene protection.

Attendees will be able to hear from industry experts within the healthcare and planning sector, including Debbie Harris, managing director of Autumna, which offers later-life care advice.

Meiko will use the convention to unveil a new generation of washer-disinfectors that it insists will revolutionise day-to-day work in the care sector, as well as new cleaning and disinfection technology.

The first day of the event will feature a lecture on the topic of stopping pathogens and ensuring hygiene, while the second day will see a talk on hygiene and process safety in the kitchen area.

Subsequently, Philip Shelley, who boasts 20 years’ experience in hospital catering, design consultant Duncan Hepburn and food trend expert Hanni Rützler from ZukunftsInstitut in Germany will be debating the structural change in catering in care settings.

The conference will provide health and care workers with useful information and ideas on hygiene, sustainability and planning, and offers a platform for exchange.

Interested parties can register now for the online conference free of charge HERE.

Further programme details are available on the registration webpage.
