Leading digital food safety and compliance expert Monika beefed up its UK sales team with two new appointments from the catering equipment industry.
The move comes as the company also looks to recruit a number of field service engineers to strengthen its service coverage.
Kate Aston has joined as sales consultant from MKN to concentrate on promoting the company’s MonikaPrime range of new products to dealers, distributors and consultants.
She said: “With 15 years’ experience within the foodservice industry it’s an exciting time for me to join the team at Monika and be able to broaden my knowledge and experience while working with such a niche product. It’s also exciting for me personally to be part of the new product launch and the team that has been put in place to grow the Monika business.”
The company has also appointed Jeremy Bailey as sales executive. He has worked in the catering equipment industry for 22 years, most recently at Brakes Group. He will focus on key accounts and looking after Monika’s existing clients, introducing them to new upgrade opportunities.
Mr Bailey said: “The timing was right to step away from manufacturer sales into a more defined market place. With the new product launch and advanced technology Monika now offers their clients the growth implications are huge, so it is an exciting time to join an unparalleled company.”
The duo will work alongside UK director of sales, Rag Hulait, who has been with the business for more than 20 years.
