The Wellhouse is a new restaurant at Lainston House, part of the Exclusive Hotels Collection, marking a new dining concept for the group which focuses on woodfired cooking and BBQ techniques.
The Wellhouse is overseen by executive chef Phil Yeomans and celebrates the ‘skill of woodfired cooking’ in an ‘immersive’ eating and drinking environment within a listed building on the grounds of the hotel.
Executive chef Phil Yeomans comments: “Having spent the last year mastering new woodfire and barbecue techniques, meeting producers and watching the kitchen garden mature, I couldn’t be more excited to unveil The Wellhouse to locals, hotel guests and beyond.”
The Wellhouse also maximises the hotel’s walled kitchen garden and will roll out seasonally-changing menus for dinner service only.
The creation of The Wellhouse as an new dining concept at Lainston House forms part of Exclusive Collection’s wider commitment to reinvesting back into the properties.
The Wellhouse joins fine-dining restaurant, The Avenue, at Lainston House.
