Nisbets channels its inner Argos and Screwfix

Nisbets East London

Catering equipment supplier Nisbets is aiming to take a leaf out of Argos and Screwfix’s books with the opening of a new ‘trade counter’ store concept in Swansea.

The trade counter is aimed at offering a fast and easy order and collect system – similar to the one provided by leading high street retailers – that ensures operators are able to get the products they need when time is of the essence.

The counter, which is open seven days a week and employs five staff, will offer a range of catering equipment and chef tools to businesses across South Wales.

Robin White, managing director of Nisbets, said: “We are delighted to be opening our first ever trade counter in Swansea. We’re very excited about supporting the hospitality and catering trade in the local area after what has been a turbulent year for the industry.

“Our team look forward to get to know local business owners and chefs from around this wonderful city and supporting them with our industry-leading product range and fantastic customer service.”

Around 3,500 products are stocked at the trade counter in Swansea, while the company offers access to 30,000 products online.
