Nisbets has launched a new premium range of tableware that it says it designed to give chefs the perfect base to present their dishes.
With textured surfaces to add depth, a mixture of shapes, rich colours and an unglazed edge to frame creations, the new ‘Olympia Canvas’ is aimed at operators seeking to create the look they want.
The range comprises a mix of shapes and sizes, including innovative flat-bottomed plates and bowls to give chefs a smooth surface to showcase their masterpieces, and the curved plates and tapered bowls offering a more traditional design.
Each piece is individually handcrafted by experienced potters and finished with a reactive glaze to give a unique appearance.
Available in six natural hues and a choice of textures including smooth with contrasting rough edges and a wave-like rippled surface, chefs can select the perfect backdrop for their creations.
Lara Sheen, product manager at Nisbets, said: “Food presentation has always been an important part of the dining experience but in a market where consumers have high expectations and Instagrammable dishes are in demand, aesthetics are increasingly important.
“Now, more than ever, operators are looking for tableware that not only showcases the quality ingredients and creativity that goes into their dishes but is on trend and sets them apart.”
Mrs Sheen said the range has been created by expert potters expressly for artistic catering professionals.
