Companies and individuals can nominate their own businesses or other parties for an award.
Third party entries have been particularly high, indicating how keen the industry is for some of the great (and often unseen) work that has gone on throughout the pandemic to be recognised.

Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week is a joint initiative by Catering Insight and Foodservice Equipment Journal to ensure best practice and excellence within the catering equipment and commercial kitchen industry still gets recognition in the absence of being able to put on physical awards events this year.
The unified awards programme will be a week-long celebration that sees the winners of each category announced on a daily basis throughout the week commencing Monday 30 November.
The awards have been made possible by the support of leading industry brands and categories, who have endorsed specific categories including Jestic Foodservice Equipment, Hoshizaki, Welbilt, True Refrigeration, Rational, DC Products, Hobart and the Foodservice Equipment Association.
