Operators that use Hobart’s Ecomax dishwashers will now be able to buy cooking equipment under the same brand.

The Ecomax name – which Hobart first introduced in 2003 – is only available through its distribution partners and has always been confined to warewashing equipment.

However, it is now being extended to include a reliable, value-for-money range of cooking products.

Hobart said the line would typify the ethos of the Ecomax brand by making high performance products available to small and medium businesses at lower prices.

Operators will be able to purchase ranges, fryers, chargrills, combi ovens, pasta cookers and salamanders.

Tim Bender, sales director, Hobart Equipment Division, said: “This is very much the next logical stage on the Ecomax journey – made possible by the reunification of Hobart’s Warewash and Cooking divisions, respectively.

“We know that introducing a cooking range is absolutely the right thing to do based on how successful the Ecomax warewash range has been for dealers, allowing them to specify equipment with an advantageous mix of build quality, reliability and more functional pricing.”

Operators interested in the Ecomax cooking line can visit or contact their local distributor.

“At a time when hospitality operators are feeling the pinch, the introduction of options like this can make all the difference,” added Mr Bender.
