Parry Catering has appointed former Moffat area manager Euan Hunter as its business development manager.
The Derby-based catering equipment manufacturer has undergone a business transformation programme over the past two years following a period of restructuring and hopes the arrival of the experienced salesman will strengthen its market offering.
Mr Hunter has been in the catering industry for the last 20 years, holding key roles with brands such as Falcon in areas including sales, design and marketing.
He moves to Parry after four years at Moffat where he served as area sales manager responsible for the north of England.
Mr Hunter will head up the new business development function and drive Parry’s new product development programme, with a remit to build on the key distributor accounts that it works with.
“This is an excellent opportunity to work with the team at Parry,” he said. “They are a dynamic, forward-looking company and I’m excited to draw upon my industry experience to help Parry continue their growth.”
Mark Banton, managing director at Parry, said: “We’re delighted that Euan is joining the Parry team, he is the archetypal consummate professional and brings with him a wealth of experience in this sector. His personality and demeanour match the Parry culture perfectly.”
Parry also recently bolstered its workforce with the appointment of two additional production engineers in the drawing office to increase its design capacity and meet the growing need for bespoke fabrications.
