British catering equipment manufacturer Parry is putting extra focus on ensuring it has sufficient stocks of stainless steel products for the healthcare market during the crisis.
The Derbyshire-based firm is best known for its range of catering appliances and counters, but it also manufactures products such as handwashing stations and trolleys for use in hospitals.
The company employs around 70 staff at its factory in Draycott and, while it has had to adapt to the new government guidelines, it is still producing clinical equipment to meet demand.
It confirmed: “To respond to the current situation, and to do whatever we can to help, we have shifted our manufacturing focus from catering equipment to essential healthcare equipment, including hand wash stations and medical trolleys. Our employees’ safety and wellbeing is still paramount.”
Typically, all of Parry’s clinical equipment range is available for immediate order with rapid dispatch.
It is also able to handle bulk orders and its bespoke fabrications team can amend its products to suit customers’ exact requirements.
