Pentland pleased with response to energy-saving kit

Pentland Wholesale at Commercial Kitchen

Pentland Wholesale, the importer and supplier of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, says that last week’s Commercial Kitchen show proved to be the ideal platform for it to launch its new range of energy efficient products.

The Blackburn-based outfit had one of the largest stands at the show, reflecting the investment it has made in bolstering its product line-up this year.

New dishwashing equipment, cooking appliances and refrigeration systems have all been added to its wholesale portfolio as it looks to increase the value it offers to customers.

Maxine Mason, commercial director of Pentland Wholesale, said the two days it spent in Birmingham allowed it to give buyers a closer look at kit they might not have seen before.

“We are always looking to source and introduce new products to the market. We are very proud to have presented ourselves at the Commercial Kitchen Show, it was an exciting trade event dedicated to the commercial kitchen industry. Thanks to a great team effort, we had a very successful show and received a vast amount of interest in our products.”

Pentland officially launched the Blizzard Premium A-rated refrigerator, an innovative all-in-one dishwashing and storage system from Kromo and an energy efficient range of ice machines from Simag, including a brand new model producing crushed ice.

Also on show from Blizzard was a selection of catering equipment including griddles, convection oven and heavy duty microwave, as well as refrigerated counters and under counter cabinets. An Inomak heated bain marie with hot cupboard and gantry completed the display.

Pentland operates out of a 56,000 square feet, purpose-built facility in Lancashire. It offers a complete solution to its customers, from consultation and design through to the installation of equipment and after-sale services.
