Popular Vitamix blender re-engineered to make it quieter

Vita-Prep 3 blender

Vitamix’s best-selling Vita-Prep 3 blender has been re-engineered to benefit from a three horsepower motor which is significantly quieter during operation without sacrificing the power, performance and versatility for which it is known.

The newly-designed motor also features improved thermal capabilities which, together with an advanced cooling fan, offers the power and dependability required in the most demanding commercial kitchens.

“The new quieter motor means the Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 can help reduce noise in busy kitchens, yet still offer chefs the unrivalled high-performance and durability to efficiently blend even the toughest whole-food ingredients,” said Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic, which distributes the brand in the UK.

Vitamix has a large installed base of professional customers, which typically use its blenders to create everything from dry rubs and spice mixes through to marinades, purées, sauces, soups, stocks, desserts and drinks.”

Constructed from the very latest materials and featuring state-of-the-art technology, Vita-Prep 3 is built for outstanding durability and versatility and features variable speed control and a range of patented, high-impact containers made from BPA-free Tritan copolyester, giving better clarity, durability, safety and style.

The manually-operated dial provides precise speed control to regulate the texture of ingredients from a coarse chop to the smoothest purée.

At each variable speed setting, the motor maintains a constant blade speed, even when blending heavy loads.

The durable 64-oz. high-impact Vita-Prep 3 container comes with a removable lid plug, meaning ingredients can easily be added during a blend. A tamper tool allows users to blend thick and frozen mixtures without stopping the machine.

The Vita-Prep 3 is backed by a three-year warranty on motor base parts and a one-year warranty on container and blade assembly.
