“I have long been motivated by supporting and developing others, particularly young chef talent of which there is so much across the UK and Ireland,” he says.
As well as people development, David oversees the direction of Sodexo’s UK menus.
Such is the reverence he is afforded in the market that he was awarded the Freedom of the City of London this year, which to give it due context is an honour that has also been bestowed upon such individuals as Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Dame Judi Dench and Florence Nightingale.
