Combi oven manufacturer Rational has expanded its training programme for end-users, creating options for those specialising in a la carte dining and banqueting.
The company’s standard ‘Academy RATIONAL’ programme currently makes it possible for chefs to undertake regular training and keep up-to-date with current techniques, trends and preparation methods.
However, from May, Rational will add a new strand to the offering in the shape of its ‘Expert Chef Academies’, which are designed to provide customers with more detailed training at a specialist level.
Lee Norton, managing director of Rational, said that with additional courses aimed at industry catering, á la carte and banquet businesses, the level of training available to customers will be its richest yet. “We would like our customers to know about and maximise the possibilities and profit potential provided by our appliances,” he said.
The two new RATIONAL Expert Chef Academies for banqueting and large scale catering will be offered as advanced courses along with the basic Academy training already available.
A special training programme designed to the specific needs of all kitchen enterprises, from restaurants and hotels to nurseries and hospitals, will also be available.
“We demonstrate to our customers how they can improve their operations, save valued preparation time and money, cook a more diverse range of dishes or even attract new business,” adds Norton. “It is important to the manufacturer to also be there for its customer after their purchase. Every chef should be able to work with their RATIONAL appliance in a way that is best for their business.”
