Successful kitchen residency with BrewDog inspires Red’s True Barbecue restaurant launch

Red’s True Barbecue

Barbecue chain Red’s True Barbecue is to open a restaurant in Leicester following the success of a local kitchen residency at BrewDog.

Red’s teamed up with the craft beet specialist in February to launch a five-day-a-week food operation, which was expanded to seven days earlier this month.

Now, according to the Leicester Mercury, it will open a 75-seater restaurant above Brewdog next Friday.

Red’s initially started out in Leeds in 2012, and has since opened six further restaurants in England.

It began a relationship with BrewDog up in Leeds around 18 months ago, with customers able to order from its menu of burgers and wings via a dedicated “barbecue phone”.

The chain has worked closely with BrewDog to pair customers’ favourite draft choices with its barbecue classics.
