Specialist commercial refrigeration supplier, Capital Cooling, is aiming for huge growth despite the challenging climate with the help of a £3.5m funding facility.

The Scottish-based refrigeration manufacturer has partnered with independent SME funder, Bibby Financial Services (BFS) to support the brand’s continued growth strategy.

The West Lothian business has been designing, manufacturing and distributing commercial refrigeration products and bespoke systems to commercial kitchens across the UK for over 20 years.

Capital Cooling’s ever-growing product range focuses on sustainability and has recently welcomed new products including the innovative Kube Plus and Ultimate coldrooms, as well as a range Ilsa refrigeration equipment.

Steve Steadman, CEO, Capital Cooling Refrigeration, said the deal would provide the working capital required to support its internal investment and growth.

“We have been impressed by how quickly BFS was able to structure a funding package that suited our needs. We’re thrilled to partner with the team and look forward to driving the business forwards.”

The new facility is expected to play an integral part in Capital Cooling’s plans for expansion as it will free up working capital in order to invest in people, products and processes.
