Combi oven manufacturer Retigo has teamed up with logistics specialist Keith Elkington Transport to increase the level of stock available locally to UK customers.
The move comes as the Czech Republic-based manufacturer looks to gain a more prominent place in the UK foodservice market.
The company has stated that it has invested “significant amounts” to get its UK stock value in excess of £250,000.
Last month it said it had 40 units available for delivery into the UK now and expects to have another 20 grid units in stock later this month. The arrangement increases the volume of product that operators can secure on a next-day basis.
Radford Chancellor, non-executive director at Retigo, said: “The amount of stock currently available in the UK proves Retigo’s investment into the UK market and confidence in an ongoing partnership between the UK and EU.”
Retigo ovens will be stored in a warehousing facility ready for shipment by Keith Elkington Transportation with next-day delivery available for orders place by 3pm.
Oli Elkington, managing director at Keith Elkington Transport, said: “We have been receiving bulk imports from Retigo and storing them ready for delivery across the UK.
“Our catalogue of services are available for both Retigo and their clients to fully utilise. This may include next day delivery, two man specialist delivery and removal, and also disposal of existing units.”
End-users can choose from Retigo’s Orange unit, which comes with all of Retigo’s basic features, and its Blue model, which comes with its own touchscreen to allow the user to personalise the use of their combi.
