The Rick Stein Marlborough seafood restaurant will reopen its doors on Friday 4 September.
The Wiltshire site in Rick Stein’s group was previously marked for closure due to Covid-related cuts, however, after a rent reduction from the landlord the decision has been reversed.
Discussing the reopening, Stein commented: “I’m delighted that we’re reopening our Marlborough restaurant on 4 September and we’re looking forward to welcoming back our loyal customers.”
Ahead of the reopening, the décor, menu and wine list are all being updated.
However, to accommodate guests who would still prefer to dine at home, the site will be offering a takeaway service. Select dishes such as the fish and chips, Thai fishcakes and curries will all be available to order via the Rick Stein app to collect at the restaurant.
General manager of Rick Stein Marlborough, Kevin Cole, concluded: “As a team we’re committed to looking forwards and I have felt such positivity from both staff and customers regarding our reopening which is brilliant.
“We can’t wait to get the doors open again and start serving great food with the high level of service people have come to expect and love.”
