Sodexo has secured the catering contract with City, University of London for a further three years, with the services for Cass Business School also included in the deal.
The contract also has the potential to be extended for up to five years.
Sodexo has been the University’s catering partner since 2014 providing services at the main Northampton Square campus.
With a continued focus on healthy eating, earlier this year Sodexo opened a Crussh outlet in the University’s main building in Northampton Square in London.
As part of the new contract Sodexo will be relaunching the main restaurant with new offers including its Planted! street food offer, featuring Oumph!, a 100% plant based meat alternative made from soybeans, salt, water; and Dough & Go pizza.
Starbucks coffee will be available from the University’s Courtyard Café.
The innovative social enterprise Change Please will remain at the university.
Sodexo will also be introducing kiosk ordering points specifically for Dough & Go pizzas and its Yardbird chicken offer to help alleviate long queues at peak times of meal choices.
The new contract will also see Sodexo extend its services to Cass Business School’s Bunhill Row and Aldersgate sites where it will implement an offer which has been specifically designed to cater for the needs of the business school students, staff and visitors.
This will include street food-style menus and cuisines from around the world.
