A company set up as the UK’s first dedicated contract caterer to the senior living, care and welfare sectors is celebrating five years in business.

Signature Dining was formed by director Paul Robottom back in 2017 and today boasts 45 contracts and a turnover of £9m.

Mr Robottom founded the business with the aim of delivering specialist knowledge, menu innovation and world-class catering services to care operators.

He said the last five years has seen Signature double down on its ethos of provenance, innovation, professionalism and service excellence in order to become a key partner to clients.

“Signature Dining wholly exists to enhance the everyday lives of our residents and customers, by offering a extensive range of fresh, innovative and delicious menus, prepared with passion and served with courtesy, in great environments.

“As we reach a real landmark in our fifth birthday, I am beyond proud of the prestigious contracts that we have the privilege to operate, the satisfied residents and customers that we serve, the fantastic people that we employ and the awards we have been recognised with.”

Signature now intends to draw on its success in the care sector to expand into the education sector.

It has already won contracts to provide catering services to primary and secondary schools across the UK.
