Global equipment specification platform Specifi will tomorrow host the latest in a series of live webinars exploring the challenges facing the hospitality sector during Covid-19.
The session, which starts at 2pm on Wednesday 27 May, is titled ‘Ready for the Reopening’ and will examine the readiness of operators and the equipment supply chain to restart business.
The event will be moderated by Specifi VP sales, Nic Banner and feature a number of industry experts, including Meiko’s Paul Anderson and Welbilt’s Alastair Farquhar from the UK.
German FCSI consultant Rolfe Henke, Australia’s Mark Minnis and the USA’s Randy Hano will also bring some international perspective to the discussion.
Mr Banner will be asking the panellists about the changes they think operators will need to make to handle reduced guest capacity due to social distancing, and how kitchens will operate to ensure social distancing while maintaining service time.
They will also discuss the new equipment that restaurants might need, and the design and safety considerations that will need to be addressed to operate under new conditions.
The webinar is free to attend and can be accessed HERE.
