Commercial property agent Lambert Smith Hampton today confirmed that Costa Coffee and Subway are preparing to open their doors at Springhill Shopping Park in Northern Ireland this autumn.

The chains will each take 1,800 square foot sites at the development, which is growing its retailer line-up as it looks to build on the 175,000 cars that currently enter the park every month.

Ryan Kee, retail director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “This park is home to a unique mix of retailers, from fashion, sports and bargain retailers, to well-being outlets and a selection of food offerings. We have secured these tenants on the back of a strong existing line up and plan to work closely with them going forwards to attract new customers to the park.”

Springhill Shopping Park spans 198,000 square foot in total and is ideally located on the outskirts of Bangor in County Down. The presence of a 68,000 square foot Tesco on the site is also expected to generate footfall.

James Charlesworth, asset manager at Savills Investment Management, said the company was delighted to welcome Costa Coffee and Subway to Springhill Retail Park. “The arrival and expansion of these tenants reflects our shared vision and commitment to creating a best-in-class shopping experience for all customers,” he said.

SH and Harvey Spack Field acted for Springhill Shopping Park. Costa Coffee was represented by TDK and Subway dealt direct.
