Puracycle the world’s most sustainable foodservice label, has joined the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) as a supplier partner.
The SRA is a not for profit, community of foodservice businesses, suppliers and discerning diners working together to create a sustainable foodservice industry for people and planet.
Puracycle is represented in the UK by Pro Foodservice Reps. The company’s sales director, Ross Gibson, said: “We have been long time admirers of the work of the SRA, there was a natural synergy with them and Puracycle, we are delighted they agree, and allowed Puracycle to become a partner.”
Andrew Stephen, CEO of the SRA, added: “At the SRA we see it as a big part of our role to be the intersection between foodservice and innovative businesses creating products that can help them be fit for the future. Puracycle labels are an excellent example of a simple but effective way for operators to reduce their impact on the environment, while saving money and time. Creating links between our network of supplier and provider members will help accelerate the industry towards greater positive change.”
Puracycle will engage with the SRA membership through their online community, as well as attending the group events.
