Taylor UK announces it is now supplying MagiKitch’n griddles

Taylor UK has announced that it is now supplying electric griddles from MagiKitch’n, the brand used by the likes of Five Guys and Nando’s.

MagiKitch’n, which is owned by Middleby Corporation, has been making commercial cooking equipment since 1942.

The MK has been designed as a powerful and easy to maintain griddle ideal for a wide range of uses.

It is available in a choice of sizes, including the compact MKE 24 model. With dimensions of 61cm deep x 102cm wide x 107cm high, it has a 61cm x 60cm cooking plate, which is 2.5cm thick, and comes with legs which are removable if siting it flush on a worktop.

Constructed with double walled, reinforced stainless steel sides, the griddle plate is protected by tapered side and rear splash guards designed to stop debris from accumulating.

A front-mounted grease chute collects all run off into a 14-litre capacity grease box, with integrated quick lift handle for easy removal.

The griddle plate is driven by powerful heating elements made of Incoloy, a high-heat alloy that are pressure clamped to the unit’s underside.

It has three independently controlled heating zones capable of operating at temperatures ranging from 93°C to 288°C.

David Rees, marketing manager of Taylor UK, said: “Freshly grilled food is always popular, but griddles can be difficult to keep clean, and can be quite power hungry.

“The MagiKitch’n range has been designed to be simple to maintain and clean, while the individual cooking zones make it possible to reduce energy consumption, as you only heat what you need.”

List prices for the MKE 24 start at £13,310 plus VAT.

Taylor UK also supplies cooking products from Bakers Pride, Josper and TurboChef.
