Taylor UK equips aspiring Yorkshire burger concept

Refrigerated equipment specialist Taylor UK has played its part in helping a West Yorkshire burger concept get off the ground by supplying a range of business-critical kit.

Mohammed Modasser, owner of Burger Corner in Keighley, entrusted the supply of kit from Taylor to get his business off the ground having previously worked for one of the major high street fast food chains.

He is now bidding to take on the big-name QSR giants from a level playing field and is hopeful that the equipment he has chosen will help him in his quest.

Taylor equipment, Burger CornerTaylor produces equipment specifically for the fast food trade and Modasser sourced a Taylor L820 twin clamshell grill for cooking his burgers quickly and to order, as well as a Taylor C707 soft ice cream machine for his sundaes and desserts. He also purchased a Taylor 430 FlavorBurst to make thick shakes in nine different flavours.

“I knew the quality of the Taylor machinery from when I worked for a popular fast food chain,” he explained. “What was an additional bonus for me was the advice, help and speed of response that my Taylor UK sales manager gave me”.

Modasser said he opted for a Taylor Clamshell Grill after using it in the past. “I knew that the speed, consistent cooking and ease of use would be fundamental to my business’ success. We can cook burgers to order in seconds, meaning they are fresh and it gives us a real edge over local competition.”
